Physio for All is participants of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, this includes but is not limited to any scheme or associated scheme.
Physio for All’s commitment to you:
Here at Physio for All, more is expected than just providing exceptional clinical outcomes and maximum client satisfaction. AHPT also values your human rights. Our clients receive respectful care and are not discriminated against based on age, gender, ethnicity, beliefs, sexual proclivities or health status.
You have the right to choose the physiotherapist of your choice, refuse treatment and/or certain treatment options and obtain an alternative opinion. Please feel free to send an email to reception.physioforall@gmail.com to send feedback or mail a complaint.
Your commitment to Physio for All:
An exceptional clinical outcome is a result of a strong therapeutic alliance. As such, it is encouraged that you read through our Terms and Conditions in order ensure clarity and optimal communication.
All advice given will be a result of an expert clinical assessment (objective and subjective) and will be contextualised to the goals determined through the clinical interview. Maximum benefit from the therapeutic alliance will only be reached through consistent application of expert recommendations and avoidance of aggravating situations (as determined through the clinical examination).
We are highly confident that you will be able to achieve these exceptional clinical outcomes through following recommendations from both initial and subsequent assessments.
Cancellations
Physio for All places immense value on optimising the health and function of our clientele. As such, we also expect that equal value is displayed by our clientele through attendance to booked consultations. Last minute cancellation negatively impact our capacity to make consistent clinical progress and the opportunity for other clients to book.
Reminder SMS texts are an additional service we offer to ensure that you are given the best opportunity to display ongoing effort in your own progress through attendance to clinical consultations.
Our cancellation policy applies if:
You cancel an appointment less with less than twenty-four (24 hours); or
You do not attend your allocated appointment time
In such an event, you will incur a cancellation fee at the cost of the clinical consultation.
This is applicable to all patients and NOT claimable/subsidised by your health fund.
Compensable client will be required to pay the FAF ‘out of pocket’ and cannot be claimed/bulk billed through any compensable services.
Physio for All reserves the right to refuse booking until the outstanding cancellation fee has been paid.
Receiving advanced notice that you will be unable to attend gives us the opportunity to offer the allocation to other clientele on our waiting list or those requiring immediate and possible ‘emergency’ physiotherapy.
We appreciate your understanding of these essential principles in the in our capacity to ensure the optimal clinical outcomes of all of our highly valued clientele.
Late appointments
If you arrive late to an appointment but within the allocated timeslot, you may receive a shorter consultation to not inconvenience any subsequent clientele.
If you arrive after or entirely miss an appointment, you will be charged the consultation fee in full.
Consent to Treatment
You give request and give consent to our therapists to perform all requires examinations, manipulations, mobilisations, manual therapy, exercise therapy, diagnostic procedures and exercise prescription that is in accordance with your injury. You reserve the right to discuss with your therapist the nature and purpose of your physiotherapy care before treatment.
By agreeing to treatment, you accept the following:
Physiotherapy is physical in nature and may require you to remove articles of clothing in order to reveal the limb/body part to facilitate clinical assessment and treatment
You have the right to refuse intervention or seek a further opinion and to provide feedback and make a complaint
The adverse risks of Physiotherapy treatment include and is not limited to stiffness, soreness. Soft tissue injury, neurological complications, cerebrovascular injuries, burns and skin irritations
There is also adverse risks associated with a lack of treatment and/or assessment that include tissue adhesions, scar tissue and other degenerative change
The chance of the occurrence of above complication is reduced by thorough clinical assessment
A referral is not required for presentation to the clinic. If however you have been referred from a GP or other medical practitioner, please present with them to ensure continuity of care.
Consent to Obtain and Release Information
We collect personal information to conduct our business, to provide and market our services and to meet our obligations of providing best level of care. Information about your medical condition may be released to other treating practitioners. Rehabilitation, consultants, case managers and employers.
By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions you give permissions for Physio for All and its representatives and practitioners to exchange information regarding injuries and any significant/relevant past medical history to those who are deemed worthy.
Unless you ask us not to, we may send correspondence and documents to you via email. Transmitting any material via email involves risks, including the risks of unauthorised interception, of disclosure to third parties (potentially leading to a loss of confidentiality and professional privilege) and of viruses. You acknowledge and agree to accept these risks.
Intellectual property
Unless there is an agreement in writing between us which provides differently, all intellectual property rights (including copyright) in any documents which we prepare on your behalf, are owned by us. You may not adapt, reproduce or communicate (including sending a copy via email) those documents without our prior consent.
Accounts and Billing
It is expected that all fees are paid in full at the time of consultation.

We accept cash, EFTPOS, credit cards and offer electronic health rebates (via HICAPS) for your convenience. However, in the event of electronic network failure, full payment is still required on the day of consultation.
Those who feel they cannot comply with our very strict billing methods, or wish to be given special consideration, please feel welcome to put your request in writing and address it to the Practice Director.
Please understand that our strict billing methods allow equality of service to all clients and serve to raise the already high standard of care we can offer you. Our intention is not to exclude anyone from being able to access our physiotherapy services. We have never denied anyone the benefits of physiotherapy care because of their inability to pay our published fees. We understand that there may be financial hardship that requires individual consideration, please put your request in writing to the Practice Director.
Privacy Policy Summary Statement
Physio for All is committed to protecting your privacy and your personal information is generally only disclosed to other members of your medical team where necessary. Please see our Privacy Policy for further information.
The personal and health information you provide during your consultation and subsequent treatment will be collected for the primary purpose of providing high quality health care.
Where required by law or if necessary for debt collection reasons, your personal information will be disclosed.
Physio for All utilises SMS/Text or email as a means of confirming appointments.

Administer accounts and process payments
Discuss issues pertaining to your treatment
Remind you of an upcoming consultation
Follow-up post consultation
Exclusion of Liability
The director and employees of Physio for All will not be liable for, nor will they accept any responsibility for any injury, loss of function or damaged sustained by any persons out of the treatment or procedures delivered at Physio for All which do not occur as a result of any negligent act or omission of the practice director and employees
